The Geography of Basketball.
Basketball is a sport that started
when a PE teacher wanted his student to play a sport where they is limited contact
but more on shooting and running and after some time the made up game was told
around the country and became a real sport.
In these posts I just wanted to
talk about the geography of basketball and in this one I will be talking about
how a basketball is made and what goes into making it as well as stadiums and
what it takes to make one. The outer layer of the basketball is made from
leather, synthetic rubber. So on the inside of the ball there is another ball
that acts like a bladder and hold the air without letting the air get out
anywhere. The bladder is made from rubber, and the carcass is made from
treads of nylon or polyester.
when making a basketball court there are certain factors that you need when designing one as if the type of wood is strong enough for 10 players and 3 referees to stand on as well as if the the ground is flat when laying the concrete and you also need engineers to make the area that goes around it.
